KICK-OFF FUNDRAISING EVENT A TOUCHDOWN SUCCESS!

Grand Sponsor PatentHEALTH's Special Guest BRADY QUINN works his magic.

Bright orange footballs and BBQ wings were only a few surprises The Granted Wish Foundation had in store for their guests at their first annual kick-off event. On July 19, 2008, The Granted Wish Foundation held its first annual kick-off event at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH. Guests not only enjoyed tailgate style food, but the company of one very special guest, Cleveland Browns Quarterback Brady Quinn. Guests were greeted at the entrance of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and escorted down to a plaze tent filled with brown and orange. As guests enjoyed the fruit dips and cheeses, they had the opportunity to participate in a 50/50 drawing and a silent auction. Guests walked away with great prizes such a a stainless steel refrigerator, spa packages, and a night on the town in Cleveland. Each guest at the event met our special guest, Brady Quinn and received a personalized autograph. Brady also drew the names of those who won our 50/50 drawing, silent auction items, and encouraged one lucky winner to throw a football to win a car! Wish recipient, Patrick McGuiness, reached out to the guests and shared his experience on how the foundation positively impacted his life. The Granted Wish Foundation is overwhelmed by the support of our guests and has nothing but appreciation for those in attendence. The first annual kick-off event was a success and the foundation looks forward to continued success.

FIRST TEENS FOR DREAMS PROGRAM A SUCCESS!

"A Wish For Joey" became a reality as Ohio rival High Schools, St. Thomas Aquinas and Central Catholic set aside parochial rivalries and joined forces to raise money for a Granted Wish Foundation project, A Wish For Joey. Joey is a two-year old boy with spinal muscular atrophy who is in need of a wheelchair ramp. The students collected donations for three weeks culminating in the annual basketball game between the two schools where Joey and his family were in attendance.

On a warm spring day over twenty volunteers, including students from the participating high schools, began building Joey's wheelchair ramp. With the generous support of Hammer & Nails and Keim Lumber Company, an excited Joey watched with bright eyes and an enormous smile as the volunteers made another Granted Wish come true! The Granted Wish Foundation would like to send our sincere gratitude and thanks to all the people who gave their time and their heart!

ADOPT A FAMILY

Christmas Eve, 2007

Each Christmas, The Granted Wish Foundation makes dreams come true for underprivileged families by providing food, clothing, toys and household products. On Christmas Eve, 2007 volunteers spent the day shopping for four well deserving families to make Christmas, 2007 one of the happiest days of their lives. The Granted Wish trailer surprised children and parents by driving to each house and unloading bags of toys, food and other needed items. The smiles on the faces of these family members was priceless. The Granted Wish Foundation continues its efforts to provide wish fulfillment to well deserving individuals and families.
